Mold Removal and Mold Prevention - Control Moisture in the Air

Controlling moisture in the air in your home is the most important step to preventing mold. And preventing the growth of mold is by FAR the preferable option - dealing with mold that has already grown is a much more difficult task.

Use an air conditioner or a good dehumidifier to control the level of moisture in your home. A level of 30-50% moisture is ideal for controlling the growth of mold. When the air gets too humid, it gives mold spores an ideal environment to thrive - and grow - and hurt the valuable investment you've made in your home.

You can do many things to prevent water damage. Just keep the rooms ventilated specially the bathroom because that is one of the first rooms where mold can appear.

Mold inside homes is not a good thing. the problem is the homes these days can't breath. they are built so tight that mold once inside will thrive in a humid environment

You don't have to worry too much about houses that cannot breath because there is the so called mould resistant paint available in the market. It will minimize molds and also will let the house breath.
